Throughout World War II the Navajo Marines fought against Japan . All Indians were treated like trash in the U.S. They helped with the war though. They sent messages back and forth in code. The code was unbreakable because they sent them in their native language. Very few people could speak Navajo who were not Navajos. They saved a lot of lives but they couldn't tell anyone.

The book Code Talker is an amazing novel. Probably my favorite so far, and if you are into WWII books and Indian stories, its got both so it would be twice the amusment. All this boy Kii Yazhi goes through from the start to the end is amazing. He first goes to boarding school and,  well,....., why don't you read the rest and find out.

I liked this book because it had a little bit of everything. Love, madness, sadness and drama. A good book has all of that and Edward Tulane is the one. At first, Edward was snoty and stuck up and he didn't like Abeline that much. Then he fell overboard and Edward didn't know what he had until it was gone. Then he started to love a lot of people.

It's just not my kind of story when inanimate objects come to life and when it's from there point of view and have there own feelings (sort of) and what not. Also  Edward   knows that you don't know how much you love something until it is gone. That gave a tear to my eye. This is why I love the book of  The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane.
