Adam Canfield of the Slash by Hank P.
I recently had read "Adam Canfield of the SLASH" (RB Nominee 2008) The author used many ideas in the book that most kids don't know about. For example they used a Baritone instead of a more famous instrument. The writer had a interesting form of writing that kept wanting you to keep reading. Over all I would rate "Adam Canfield of the Slash" 4 and 1/2 Stars ***1/2.
Crooked River by Tyler O.
Crooked River was just the sort of book that would interest me.I love historical fiction and the elements in the novel that would determine an Indian's life were so fascinating!
Listening for Lions by Tyler O.
Listening for Lions by Gloria Whelan made me follow every step of Rachel Sheridan's adventure through Africa and England.
The Old Willis Place: A Ghost Story by
Tyler O.
The Old Willis Place by Mary Downing Hahn actually made me feel bad for Diana and Georgie and the exciting twists and turns kept me reading.
Shakespeare's Secret by Tyler O.
Shakespeare's Secret intrigued me and kept me guessing until the end. I vote every year that I can for the Rebeccca Caudill novels and this is definitly the best year yet!
