Drums, Girls, & Dangerous Pie by Bree B.
The book Drums, Girls, and Dangerous Pie is THE BOMB!!! It was one of my favorites. It is about a boy named Steven who is 13 that leads a seemingly normal life; he plays drums in the all city jazz band, has a crush on the HOTTEST girl in the school,Renne Albert, and has the most ANNOYING little brother in the entire world, Jeffory. (Don't you just the bold print?) But one day Steven takes his brother to make some "Moatmeal" (Don't ask) and Jeffery falls off the kitchen stool. He hits his head causing a gorey, neverending, nosebleed. When Steven's parents arrive at the hospital and Jeffory is tested over and over, they learn that Jeffory has a deadly cancer called Leukemia. As if Steven doesn't have enough to worry about ,being a teen and all, he has to deal with the stress of his normal life plus the new addition, his little brothers cancer. This book is sad, happy, funny, full of anger, full of joy, and of course, Dangerous Pie. So read it! Please!

The Old Willis Place: A Ghost Story by Nicole W.
The Old Willis Place is a good book!  It is a book about a girl named Diana and her brother Georgie.  They live in fear of Miss Lilyan who died in the front parlor.  The kids have rules they must follow, one is they must not show themselves.  This is hard when a new care-taker comes with his daughter, Leasa.  Read the book and find out all different things that Diana and Georgie over come.  It is frightening in some spots but funny in the rest!  this is a great book for ghost storie lovers, and also to get a laugh!

The Penderwicks: A Summer Tale of Four Sisters, Two Rabbits, and a Very Interesting Boy
by Rebekah D.
I really enjoyed the book  "The Penderwicks".  It is about four sisters, their dog Hound, their dad, a boy, and two rabbits.  The sisters names, from oldest to youngest, are Rosalind, Sky, Jane, and Batty Penderwick.  They go on vacation, and meet a boy with many problems.   Together they have many problems to solve, secrets, and adventures.  The vacation turns out to be great.  The Penderwicks are sad to leave.   You should read this book.

Princess Academy by Bree B.
The book "Princess Academy" was truly the bomb-diggidy. There is the only word to describe it. I mean, you don't have to read it!  So, a girl named Miri who is 14 lives in a tinsy-tiny mountain village called Mount Eskel. On day the people who trade goods called traders come with a chief delagate and tell the girls that the high priests for the king have figured that the princes new wife is to be from Mount Eskel. So all the girls from ages 12 to17 are considered eligable to attened an academy to prepare them for the arrival of the prince. So the girls prepare and the soldiers come in the middle of the night to take them away from their family. Miri's sister is just barely old enough to be un-eligable. So Miri walks the three hours up the mountain and arrives at the Princess Academy. The tutor named Olana is very strict, hitting the girls or locking them in the closet if they get out of line. The girls learn many a thing, includind Diplomacy and Poise. They are faced with many challenges and only one girl can be academy princess. This book is full of twists and turns. It was slow at the beginning, then it held me until the end. Read it!

Princess Academy by Leah S.
Princess Academy was an amazing book full of adventure, suspense, and excitement. It's about a Academy where girls have to go to learn how to be like a princess. They are getting ready to meet a prince and the prince will pick which girl he wants to marry. This book has alot of interesting twists and turns.

The Ruins of Gorlan by Collin B.
The Ruins of Gorlan was so great I didn't want to give it back.  It's about a boy who wants to go to Battleschool but has skills to be a ranger.  You should read this book to get more details, and I know you will like it to.

The Schwa Was Here by Andy W.
The Schwa Was Here is an awsome book about a kid who is "effectively invisible." The story is written as if it was told by Anthony Bonano, the main character. The Schwa is really Calvin Schwa and is trying to find his mom. The end iis a little anticlimactic (dissapointing) but the rest completly rocks. They have some friendship issues and that same stuff that all books do but there are many redeaming qualities. They do some testing on the Schwa effect and even get profits off of it. Definitely the best Caudill book I've read this year.

The Schwa Was Here by Nick C.
The book I'm reading is "The schwa was here"it's pretty cool. One of my favorite parts was, that the scence teather's lips always go in kissing position (L.O.L.), so it's like this; "On the board he writes 34 degres, then turned to us.The scientific method (kiss) is one of hypothesis, trial(kiss), results, and conclusion (kiss, kiss)." one time at parent teacher confrences a guy punched him for making kissy faces at his wife. Over all I give it five of five!

Thunder from the Sea by Collin B.
I read "Thunder From the Sea".  It's a book by Joann Hiatt Harlow about a boy named Tom who found a dog out at sea and names him Thunder.  Tom is so close to Thunder because they are both orphans.  Later someone comes to get Thunder,  but leaves him with Tom saying that he's Tom's dog.  I really loved this book because of all the good things that Thunder does.
