I read Crooked River. It is very good because it has two parts of it. One has a story like the the main characters were telling it and then there is a part where the Indian was telling his side. The people think Indian John killed a white trapper...but will they ever find out the truth?? You will have to read it and find out.:)

Yankee Girl by Samantha
I read Yankee Girl. It was a Very teaching book..I think the major lesson was that when someone is getting picked on to go and be there friend.In Yankee Girl a Aficain American comes to a all white school.Now one girl just moved to that town.All she wants is some friends.So she didn't know what to do when Valrie(the afircain American)comes to the school.She wants to be her friend but isn't sure what to do..If she does she will get made fun of and will never get friends..It is a very good book.who every hasn't read it needs to..My bff said she wasn't going to like it..she read it..Now she LOVES it!!!
